CALLING REPUBLICANS TERRORISTS: THE GROUND RULES

Republican flack Matt Mackowiak was quoted by The Washington Post's Chris Cillizza on the subject of Wanda Sykes at the White House Correspondents Association dinner:

"Sykes was funny, toeing the line with her comedy the entire time until she brought up Rush," said Matt Mackowiak, a GOP consultant who attended the dinner. "It's one thing to say he is guilty of treason, another to say that he sounds like Osama Bin Laden, was the 20th hijacker on 9/11, and that you hope his kidneys fail. I thought it was over the line and marred her otherwise good performance."

That would be this Matt Mackowiak:

Here's an interesting choice of analogy from Matt Mackowiak's op-ed in The Austin American-Statesman, promoting the Tea Parties.

The coming revolution is akin to "Fight Club," the 1999 film that follows the struggles of day to day life for a regular guy who starts an underground fight club as radical and not terribly productive psychotherapy.

As Brad Pitt's character, Tyler Durden, says in the movie, "Fight Club was the beginning, now it's moved out of the basement, it’s called Project Mayhem."

Project Mayhem, of course, was the militarization of the Fight Clubs into terrorist cells that blow up banks....

Hey don't you dare call Republicans terrorists! Only Republicans get to do that!
