ASSAULT WITH A DEADLY BALLOT

What are right-wingers freaking out about now? This:

President Obama called voting "the best revenge" on Friday at a rally in Ohio.

The line was a twist on Obama's usual "don't boo, vote" line that the president uses when crowds at this rallies boo Republican nominee Mitt Romney’s name.

"No, no, no, Don't boo. Vote," Obama told a crowd in Springfield, Ohio. "Voting is the best revenge."
Jennifer Rubin is beside herself:
Obama makes a base appeal

...That's the best he can do? "Voting is the best revenge"? And against whom should voters seek "revenge" -- other Americans? A candidate who has the support of about half the electorate? It is mind-boggling, really, that this sort of snide, negative motivation is what President Obama has saved up for his final appeal.
Fox Nation calls this "Obama's Sick Closing Argument." Breitbartnik John Nolte says,
What kind of divisive, ugly rhetoric is this coming from a sitting president? ...

This behavior isn't just unpresdiential, it's un-American.
But a headline at Michelle Malkin's Twitchy gets to the heart of the wingers' take on this:
President Thug at Ohio rally: 'Voting is the best revenge'
That right: for Obama, not only is it unseemly, unpresidential and un-American to urge the defeat of your opponent in the last week of an election campaign, it's actually a violent criminal act. (Gosh, I wonder what it is about Obama that inspired Malkin to use the word "Thug." Let me think....)

By the way, I'd just like to point out that three days after the assassination of former Pakistani prime minister Benazir Bhutto in 2007, her nineteen-year-old son, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, spoke at a press conference:
"The party's long struggle for democracy will continue with renewed vigour," he said. "My mother always said, democracy is the best revenge."
"Democracy is the best revenge." I guess she was just another thug.

What shameless scumbags. The entire conservative movement is based on contempt for at least half of the country, and conservatives are voting for Romney mainly out of spite. As vacuumslayer says, it's always projection...

I think the President was referring to voting in such numbers, that the all of the Reich Wing's voter suppression, voter intimidation, and questionable voting machines, will be swamped.

Believe me, if 2008 were closer, they would have tried flipping the Electronic Voting Machines.
This year, it's supposedly closer. And they're MUCH more desperate!

Our revenge against these Fascist's pigs attempts to rig elections is to show up and vote in such sheer massive numbers, that the tsunami of people voting for Democrats is louder than their whining and bitching.

I suggest we start calling them "Arrested Development Conservatives."
And the Republican Party's symbol shouldn't be a elephant anymore, but a Teddy Bear sucking on a pacifier, and hugging his blankie!

Victor, don't kid yourself. "if 2008 were closer, they would have tried flipping the Electronic Voting Machines".
They did!
Rovians understood they could not win the 2008 presidency so the objective was re-defined to simply prevent a Presidential mandate.
Electronic manipulation on the scale required in 2008 (and perhaps this year) would have to be so extensive and blatant to avoid discovery and legal action. Remember, these crimes must appear insignificant because they have be employed in future elections to keep the GOP viable.

For more than a decade, Rovian republicans have been site testing a wide variety of crimes against the electoral system. The major effort, of course, was predicated on hanging chads leading to the privatization of democratic elections to republican corporations designing, manufacturing and operating electronic voting and ballot machinery country-wide. Not satisfied, they diversified into a vast array of strategies to suppress the number of voters, mis-count, lose, replace or alter individual ballots in precincts throughout the country.
No little election crime is too small to help save America from the will of the people.

All election crimes, big and small, require indictments and punishment.

Coming from the state of Ohio, I can only end with this watchword: Planes Fall from the Sky.

Well, let's think about this a minute.

Some of Romney's best friends stole our pensions, our 401ks, our house equity, TRIED and are still trying to steal our Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid, threw 20 million or so Americans out of work and are trying to steal an election, and no one is going to prison for any of this, while Romney has spent the past seven years telling more lies than all other televised carbon-based life forms combined.

Yeah, Malkin's right. Why on earth would we want revenge?

I just heard a clip of former mayor (and attack dog/hack) Rudy Guiliani saying at a Romney rally" Americans may have died because of incompetence in the White House." wow, he just finally condemned Bush & Cheney for their multiple culpable acts, not to mention their appointee Christine Whitman, who claimed lower Manhattan /WTC air was safe immediately after 9/11.

Revenge is a perfectly good word, and concept, especially as applied to the lumpenright & their masters. Thsnks to them, the Congressional GOP has managed to (among many, many other things) delay and stunt broad economic recovery. That hurt and hurts a lot of people for no good reason. Ergo, they deserve massive electoral revenge. Vengeance is mine, sayeth the Lord (to quote one of the right's favorite fables), & the Lord helps those who help themselves (ditto).
